I cant find the kade hardware source

I cant find the kade hardware source, only the arcade board adaptor here: https://github.com/kadevice/KADE/tree/m ... rdware/pcb

there's no kade hardware source yet?

Are you looking for a parts list?

Other than the AVR and KADE board there are:
- 5 3-screw terminals (.2")
- 5 2-screw terminals (.2")
- 2 12-pin headers (.1")
- 2 12-pin sockets (.1")

Scott

EDIT:
You may also consider using shrouded connectors for the 12-pin headers.

Two possible candidates available from Mouser or Digi-Key:
1-103670-1
6-104362-1

I've ordered both of these connectors and both work great with this board or an AVR.

They provide a guide for the 12-pin sockets or these pre-fab 4-pin harnesses from Paradise Arcade.

im looking for the board (.brd file) and the schematic (.sch file) like the files about the arcade board adaptor.

Here in my city there's a company for printing prototype boards even in one unit, so i want to send the hardware sources for them to make 2 pieces for me.

The files are in the KADE_Arcade_Board_5X5cm_v1-0_openHardware.zip

Inside you'll find:
KADE_Arcade_Board_5X5cm_v1-0_openHardware.brd
KADE_Arcade_Board_5X5cm_v1-0_openHardware.sch

These are eagle 5 files (6 should open them). If your fab house needs gerbers, you can export them using your fab place design rules like this: http://hackaday.com/2009/01/15/how-to-p ... nufacture/

From what I've read, you can also convert eagle files to KiCad.

Maybe in the first post i was not clear.

I know about the arcade board source, i already have this one.

What i want is the sources of the main kade board. This one:

Shouldn't there be a file listing the associated parts, part numbers, and quantities included in the Open Hardware folder, or is that information inside the eagle files? Image

Scott

EDIT: Sorry -- missed your last post while editing this one, Fbs777.

A parts list would still be a nice addition to the hardware source. :)

That is a minumus AVR. You can find it quite a few places on the interwebs. We sell them for North American folks here:
http://northamerica.emukade.com/?produc ... us-32k-avr

You can get them cheaper other places if you go with the 16k version (fully compatible) or buy them from places that don't take paypal.

One-week and still wondering bump.

Shouldn't there be a file in an "associated parts" folder under https://github.com/kadevice/KADE/tree/master/open%20hardware that details the AVRs, pin headers, pin sockets, and screw terminals used to assemble a KADE?

The file should list the nomenclature, part number, quantity, manufacturer, and optional suitable substitutes (like the shrouded connectors) for each item.

The attached file only needs 4 part numbers and manufacturers and confirmation on the screw terminal spacing to provide the desired info.

Not including this information seems to run counter to the intent of open hardware.

Scott
EDIT: Updated info, 2 parts left. Thanks, Kevin.

I'll add a BOM at some point but is still think the question was about the AVR.

Just noticed this wasn't finished yet.

Updated attached list with part numbers/manufacturers for all KADE parts and several alternate parts.

Any other updates needed before this is posted to github?
(Not sure what the process is for doing that.)

Thanks for uploading/updating the list. :D

One thing that I recently noticed is that http://minimususb.com/ times out every time I try to visit and the Internet Wayback Machine hasn't crawled the site since 5 Jan 2014.

Is there a different link (one that would actually work) for specs/info on the Minimus boards?

There is hardware description of Minimus and useful information compiled by Reading Hackspace at http://rlab.org.uk/wiki/Projects/Minimus32
There is no published schematic available for the Minimus board but it has been reveresed engineered by Talpa at http://www.talpa.dk/?id=10&url=Electron ... index.html

I am an electronic hardware developer and wants to start work with Kade.
Can anybody help me to start with it?
I want its full specifications with the application area details.
Most of the time i have to deal with the fast automation related problems, is it able to do work for this type of projects?

Howdy and welcome-

Can you provide a bit more detail around what you are looking for? KADE runs on a variety of hardware, some open source, others not. We are slowly moving to only hardware the Team design's and will open source.
